Many people have asked about membership and how to join the Association. Originally, the Association had a formal membership and a £15 membership fee which was paid annually, with the renewal requests going out with the appropriate issue of the Lightning review to save on postage. With the Review having stopped and the stories being available on the site rather than in a magazine, it has been decided to wind up formal membership and go on to a voluntary donation system. If you like what we're doing and have enjoyed what we have on the site, you can send a donation to the Membership Secretary Mike Smith. You can send something annually or as and when, and it can be whatever you feel you can afford in a good cause. We're very grateful for any amount, no matter how small.
